Sax Cafe & Lounge runs as a considered cafe by day and a cocktail lounge by night. The brand had character. The menu system didn't - and it was creating real operational problems. Every price change, every seasonal update meant a production job that pulled time away from running the venue.
The existing files weren't built for anyone but the original designer to touch. On top of that, the printed collateral - coasters, business cards - wasn't cohesive enough to hold the venue's identity across every touchpoint.
We redesigned the full menu suite from scratch across breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and specials, and built each as a clean InDesign template their team could update in-house. The design had to work across both ends of the day - editorial and warm in the morning, atmospheric and confident by cocktail hour. Once the menu system was in, they came back for coasters and business cards. Same logic throughout: every piece needed to feel like it belonged to the same room.
